Anyone for Tennis?

Our tennis mad students are, despite the sweltering heat.

On the Friday afternoon before the crowds at the Tennis Championships at Wimbledon began to eat their way through 27,000 kilos of strawberries and 7,000 litres of fresh cream, a group of Country Cousins students hit the courts.

The mixed group reflected the diverse backgrounds of our English language students with Italy, Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic all being represented.

On what was a sweltering, hot day the students took full advantage of the facilities in Bicclescombe Park which is directly infront of the Country Cousins school.

For us at Country Cousins, tennis is not just a fun sport. It’s also great for learning life lessons that extend beyond the court including sportsmanship, self discipline and independence.

Our tennis programme offers the opportunity to combine 15 hours of English lessons per week with coaching by Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) qualified professionals. The programme will include lessons with two coaches and practice sessions with fellow students.
