Throughout the year, visitors of all ages come to this country to stay with, and become temporary members of, host families.
In Ilfracombe & Barnstaple, students have classes and fun activities from 9:30 AM till 10:30 PM (* most weekdays, not weekends).
In the total immersion programmes, some of these visitors have formal lessons in the host home. However, much of the visitors' learning comes from activities within the host families. An allowance is paid, which covers board & lodging.
Enduring friendships are made, with visitors returning year after year and recommending brothers, sisters and friends. Our requirement is very simple, but very demanding - we will only place visitors with families we would stay with ourselves or place our own children with.
